International Baccalaureate Diploma

For students undertaking the International Baccalaureate Diploma there is an additional charge of $1,410 per annum to assist with the extra costs incurred for examinations and subject fees.

Payment of Fees and Charges

The Annual Fee, Consolidated Charge and Information Technology Levy are billed together in three equal instalments, the first of which will be forwarded at the commencement of Term 1. Accounts are also issued at the end of each term for any additional charges e.g. interstate and overseas visits, music tuition and instrument hire, taxi fares, technical studies, metal and wood work, books and materials, other extra curricular activities and special projects. Fees and charges may be paid by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, internet banking, BPAY, MasterCard, AMEX and Visa. Payment options are detailed on the “2010 Fee Payment Options” attachment. Where payment is not made by the relevant due date a late payment administrative fee of $75 will be incurred unless prior arrangement has been made with the College.

Concession for Brothers

In the case of younger brothers attending the College at the same time a 10% discount applies to the second child, 15% for the third child and 20% for the fourth and subsequent children. Please note that this rebate applies only to the Annual Tuition Fee (or Composite Fee for boarders) and not the Consolidated Charge and Information Technology Levy. Sibling discounts do not apply where some other form of assistance, such as a scholarship, is provided to a brother.

Seymour College and Annesley College Uniting Church Family Allowance

If you have children attending Prince Alfred College and Annesley College or Seymour College at the same time, you are eligible for a family allowance. Please obtain an application form which can be downloaded from the link above or the Enrolments link on the home page of the College website www.pac.edu.au.

Consolidated Charge

The Consolidated Charge covers most curriculum activities such as camps, excursions, theatrical performances and many of the costs associated with the sport and co-curricular programs offered by the College. The differential Consolidated Charge for boarders incorporates all regular entertaining costs for boarding students, and is inclusive of GST. Please note, however, that the Consolidated Charge does not include expenses such as interstate and overseas visits, text books, secondary school stationery and individual requirements for art, applied design, photography, technical studies, metalwork, woodwork and special projects. These items will be charged at the end of each term.

Individual Music Tuition

Parents of students wishing to receive individual instruction in the playing of musical instruments will be required to sign an agreement with the instrumental teacher. Unless notified otherwise, separate accounts for music tuition will be rendered to parents and are payable direct to the instrumental teacher, not the College.

Notice of Withdrawal/Change in Boarding Status

A full term’s written notice must be provided to the Headmaster advising the withdrawal of a student from the College or a change in their boarding status, otherwise one third of the annual fee will be payable in lieu of notice.
